Ok...This is Amazing!!

The artist, "On The Set", writes: As a kid I loved visiting Hollywood and seeing various TV sets in soundstages. I was always forbidden from taking pictures so I would come home and build what I saw. I have not built a set in 12 years and these make great dust collectors. Now I have brought them out for you to see and have some half finished ones as well I am finally getting done. Sets are made of lots of different things but the basis is Lego bricks. A set can take from 2 weeks to a month to complete. Strange hobby I know but I hope you enjoy them!

State proposes special Brewers' license plate

Feb. 18, 2009 11:42 a.m.
Gov. Jim Doyle's budget includes a provision calling for creation of a special Milwaukee Brewers license plate.

The revenue from the additional fee to get the plates will be used to help retire the Miller Park stadium debt. Major League Baseball, which holds the licensing rights to team logos, also gets a small percentage of revenue.

Green Bay Packers' fans have had a special plate for several years. But this is the first time the state has proposed a plate for Brewers fans.

The idea came from Rick Schlesinger, the team's executive vice president of business operations, after fans contacted the team.

A Brewers spokesman said there will be two designs available. One will feature the team's current "M" logo. The other will feature the ball-in-glove logo.

"Couponing"

I recently saw on the news a story about moms clipping coupons and being able to save a ton of money from watching deals and utilizing store discounts.

I'm kind of interested in doing this. If anyone has any pointers, let me know. I've checked out a couple sites provided by nbc15.com.

I thought the following was pretty damn impressive!!

Exercise

One of my many New Years resolutions that I've made for this year has included exercising. Last night I went swimming for the first time in a long time. I haven't really swam laps since I was on the swim team in high school - yeah, and I was feeling it after about 10 minutes of swimming. And after about 15 minutes, I was ready to go. Ugh...I didn't give up though. I went for 40 minutes; I know, big whoop! But hey, I'm trying! I just need to work my way up.

Christmas

So the holidays. It all started when Jeremiah came home sick from work on Christmas Eve (I don't know why everyone isn't off on Christmas Eve). He said it was the sickest he's ever felt. Yeah! Our daughters first Christmas and my husband stuck with his head in the bucket. He ended up staying home on Christmas Eve-missing out on church and his family Christmas. I did try to keep him involved by calling (only once) and texting to see how he was doing.

Christmas morning he felt a little better; not up to par, but better. Luckily he was able to celebrate with the rest of us.

My brother & sister-in-law got T a huge stuffed donkey (Thanks for that Jess & Dave)-in honor of Nestor (our real donkey - let me rephrase that Jeremiah's donkey). I don't know if I have pictures. I'll have to post pictures of both donkeys...maybe posed together.

Christmas night ended with both Jeremiah and T sleeping next to the fireplace while G'Ma, Me, Jess, Dave & G'Pa were drinking in the kitchen. Happy Holidays!

P.S. Here's a picture from our trip to see Santa.
